Oh my. That was heartbreaking (well, for Ginny. Not as much for a delusional Harmonian like me). Poor Ginny, it’s like finding out the hard way the true depth of Harry and Hermione’s relationship.

I love these lines: “Says everybody,” he replied, bringing his hand up to grasp her own, pressing the most gentle of kisses to her palm.
And

I couldn't stop watching. (Don’t ask me why, I don’t know the answer. I just loved this line.)

Good job! This is why I love one-shots. They’re full of meaning and the author’s style differ from one story to another.

Now THIS is definitely what happens! JKR was out of her mind when she wrote the epilogue!

It was nice, very nice indeed. Although, I'd expect Ginny to make a huge scene of that, maybe going into the kitchen and accusing Hermione of stealing her boyfriend, of cheating on Ron, etc.

When I realized that he said something about things being different, I thought that it was from Ginny's pov, very interesting. I really enjoyed this story. Very interesting. It's sad to see that from Ginny's perspective, but clearly Harry treated Ginny and Hermione differently. I mean, when Ginny and Harry were dating. Great job at this.

I always LOVE it when Ginny is crushed by Harry LOVING Hermione. She need to find Neville....or actually I really like her with Draco....they are perfectly matched!!

I loved this piece! I loved that at first you couldn't tell whether it was Hermione or Ginny who approached Harry. (at least I couldn't) And I really loved the moment between Harry and Hermione at the end...very poignant and very real. It just felt so natural and right. Great job!

Oh my gosh I loved it. Simply beautiful. I was incredibly confused in the beginning and got Hermione's and Ginny's characters confused. So when it seemed like such a tender moment in the kitchen I was like "ohhh THIS is Hermione" so I reread it all to get the full effect. Anyway great job and I will definitely be checking out other things you've written. I love the ending too.

Nice job, I enjoyed your story. I read something similar once called Envy. It also comes at Harry and Hermione through Ginny, but yours is sweeter. I also completely agree, It WAS supposed to be this way. Well done!

I liked that. Very simple and direct. No big explosion, just the realization that everything had changed.

Though, I really wouldn't want to be Ron if Ginny ever figures out what they were talking about.
