This needs some editing, but as far as plot and conversation go it's very good! I love the way you elaborate on what the locket did to each of them, and I especially like that you've made Luna Hermione's confidant in this case. Seems highly appropriate! She's a good listener, Luna is - it's one of her better qualities. Enjoying this story very much - looking forward to the rest!

I like how more and more authors give Luna this role of the observant outside the HHr pair, so that she can give them advice. I think it suits her perfectly, and when she comes out with lines like:

“Is your studying not going well or are you just trying to decide between Ron and Harry?”

you can't help laughing and loving the blonde girl for being so straightforward

Hmmmn... pretty complicated. Of course she should follow her heart but it'll be messy. Poor Ron. I do feel a little bad for him from time to time, not enough to like him very much but a little. Esp. when he's portrayed as a fairly decent guy. But who cares, Hermione MUST be with Harry. Screw you Ron!

I can see how Hermione may be a tad bit hesitant to let things for further with Harry but she can't deny her heart. Doing that will only make her resent Ron.
