Aww..this was such a sad story. I really enjoyed it though. I wish that Lily would have simply smiled at James. But he was always such a jerk to her. This is my fav ship and you did a great job with this story.

Oh I feel so sorry for him. He's so sad and Lily doesn't even notice what she's doing to him. I think you wrote this genre well because it really did make me sad for James and also we don't often see it told from James side. |

Typically, I steer clear from James/Lily fics. Not that I don't love Harry's parents (I mean, really, who doesn't?), but it doesn't interest me as much as H/Hr. This, however, was very sweet and enjoyable. Don't put yourself down! (Of course, this makes me sound like a hypocrite- I always put my writing down!  )One thing I would suggest is even when writing drama, it's important to find a balance. James is, after all, a teen guy- drama doesn't really come naturally to the guys I've met. Anyway, this was very enjoyable, and it made me reconsider... maybe I AM missing out on something whenever I skip over J/L. |
Author Feedback: Yeah I used to be one of the biggest h/hr shippers on the planet. I still love them together but I dunno, I guess I became more of a J/L nut over time. Ack, I was afraid that I wrote James a bit too dramatic for his age but then again we'll never know if he was like that unless JK Rowling writes a prequel book for HP with Lily/James (she'd better...). And also, I was feeling bad for James when I wrote this because I saw sooo many Snape/Lily pics on the internet (*shudders* no. Just, no.) and I was like, "What about poor James eh!?" so i wrote this. Hopefully I'll get better over time. You ARE missing out! James and Lily are my favourite couple! (closely followed by Harry and Hermione don't you worry!)
Well, anyways, after writing a crap-load of a reply, I just wanted to say, thanks for the review!!
