Whoa, the dream had me worried. Of course, it wouldn't have made sense at all for them to have broken up, especially because it was never mentioned what Harry had done to lead to a break-up...and if it had been true, it would have been complicated for you to resolve it in only one chapter. In the end, it was only a dream.
Which means, you could have easily done without it, and the chapter would have been better.  |

Did she really have to go to hogsmeade with Dean to realize she is in love with Harry? One would expect that a bright witch like her would have figured out that if he had kissed her that way, it meant he was in love with her and if she enjoyed the kiss so much she must have feelings for him too. But of course, where would be the angst in that? Seems to me that fanfic authors can't write anything without angst anymore... |
Author Feedback: well angst is probably the one hook we do have over the reader nowadays. they are just so smart, that cliffhangers arn't enough anymore! god, the irony of it all. |

Ouch, that hurts.
I liked the time she spent with Harry on the morning after. Can I ask you something though? Why Terry boot? He seems a pretty popular choice of boyfriend for Hermione when she is not with Harry or ron but I simply can't understand why everyone chooses him. It's not like we know so much of him to know he has something that might attract Hermione (apart being a Ravenclaw) |
Author Feedback: i chose terry because he is one of those characters that is mentioned but mever built upon in the series. other authers have picked up on this and used it to their advantage. i always saw terry as a male version of hermione, therefore he would be the best person for hermione to have a full-blown relationship with. i don't have that much creativity at the moment to come up with my own character yet, but i probably will get tired of using terry or seamus or somebody and be forced to do it. but anyhoo, yeah, a lot of people use him for that reason, so they can characterize him how they want. it's starting to be over used, but that's just writing for ya |
