Congratulations for a job well done! This a well-crafted story. There's just enough twists and surprises there to make a truly thrilling story.

What I didn't like was how you turned Hermione into a tart. I think she really did string Harry and Ritchie. I guess sex and a love triangle added more spice to the story.

Anyway, thanks for sharing this. I know you put in a lot of your time and energy to create this wonderful work.

sorry for the double post but just out of interest why did harry not die and if he's alive how is didler disabled? great plot twist btw! and while the angst was a bit heavy i thought it made the story better especially coz it made the love scenes between harry and hermione that much sweeter!

i'm lost for words! that has got to be the best story on portkey i have ever read! seriously when are you gonna start publishing and writing your own stories? see if jkrowling had seen this and taken it for her own she would have made another gazillion quid out of it! i am waiting for the day that i can go into a bookstore and buy a book authored by BB Ruth! it has been an immense pleasure to read this-i was going through a phase where i wanted to read something along the lines of "the silmarillion" by tolkien, but this has cured it completely! this was an epic story with all the right elements in the right amounts! i thank you for a fantastic read and hope there are more like this coming out!!!

Hey there, I started reading The Cardinal Curses last night, and just could not stop. It certainly gives me an appreciation for the angst in The Keeper! It really was an amazing story. Ritchie certainly had many sides, and you could really see how difficult it was both for him & Harry to be civil when both loved the same woman.

I totally missed the possibility of it being Melissa the Fainting One, though I suppose the voice-changer should have clued me in. Interesting premise indeed, having her be Voldemort's daughter. I guess it's not that unreasonable, though, that he might have fathered someone through all those years we really did not know what he was up to.

I would be quite interested to see that epilogue (though I guess the question was asked awhile ago now). I also don't quite understand that final scene -- where did Harry go? Wasn't he there on the floor when Ritchie came back in?

this is a good story BB, but i find the Hr/OC plot arc to be unnecessary, besides a quick trist in her past. i connect so much with the stories that i read, i find myself feeling the same pains and pleasures the characters feel. i see it as a super-power almost. and i was literally on the floor in pain after this.

i'm not mad, and am calmly writing this, but i felt it was my duty to review and let you know that i believe it to be unnecessary and uncalled for. i'm sorry i cannot see this the way you have, but i've chosen to quit this story at this point.

it was a good premise and a good run though. keep writing, because you do write beautifully, in any case.

i wouldnt mind seeing an epilogue to show what happened to everyone...maybe not too far in the future, but enough to tie up the loose ends i guess...

Might i also add, considering this is your first fan fic, the complete lack of plot holes for such a complex plot is really impressive! Normally when poeple try and write such a detailed story there are so many plot holes! Might i also add it seems to a be a recuring motif that people stayed up late to read this, this is also the case for me!

Once again Bravo. This was amazing as well. Again, I spent many nights without sleeping. Although you made me cry again at Harry and Hermione's angst, I really enjoyed it. I hated Ritchie from the beginning but ended up loving the guy but not enough to want him to stick with Hermione. I was baffled by who the Cardinal could be and like a good writer, you gave many suspects but in the end it was the least expected. Great job, kudos! I loved it and I again hope to read more of your stories.

Well that really sucks. So we don't know anything about Ron or how it all ends. Bleh!!! Great job at this story though. I really enjoyed it. Now it's time to go to bed (at 6 am!!!!)
