Completely incoherent and unbelievable. I'm sorry. Doesn't make sense, that quick change in his attitude and all that. And Ginny has no consequences for her acts? Didn't Hermione read that the spell cost Merlin his life? Who's life did it cost now? Too many lose ends for it to be the story's end. In any case, the second part (which led me to this one), if it explains all this, should have been part of this one. And what does the spell mean?

Author Feedback: Truth be told, I got the same feeling when writing this. However, I'm not a fan of prolonged angst, and just repeating emo!Harry chapter after chapter, I could just tell his character to be a man and take charge of his responsibilities...thus the sudden change of mind to stay on the ground where he belongs and there is work to be done...I don't remember if I sorted out a punishment for Ginny or not...I definitely considered it seriously though.
As for the spell...it has been deciphered, and it isn't too difficult to figure out.

How can anyone be like "Harry, is that you?" and nothing more. It's a little unbelievable, really. And no one tells him "hey, dude, we kind of made you happy, didn't we?" and if he HAD indeed been engaged to Hermione, how can he possible go like "kill me now".
It doesn't make sense, but I'll keep on reading.
Oh, and one thing I DO have to complement, is you clean and correct writing. You don't often find a fic that has no mistakes whatsoever.

Author Feedback: The general idea I'm trying to get across in the chapter is Harry's own confusion between spending time with his parents - whom he had painfully missed all his life, finally met, and found happiness. On the other hand, there are all his earthbound friends, a significant other...both are important, but at the time of this chapter, impossible to be united - he is deciding where his priorities lie.

Hermione and Harry were engaged, but he was killed in the final battle, which meant a wedding could never happen, and thus the primary reason for Hermione's withdrawal... that's addressed in the sequel. |

Ron's life, up until the story began, took on quite a normal path...got married, steady job, children...nothing eventful until Harry comes back. Still friends with Hermione, who withdrew inside because of Harry's death. As for Ginny, she also locked herself away in search of the spell that would resurrect Harry...
On a side note, this story was never meant to have a sequel that would make the first installment look like a sadly written prologue...this is one of the earliest multi-chapter stories I wrote, and a series I am anxious to wrap up in favour of other projects...

Oh dear, that is so sad. I hadn't even thought about him being with his family and everybody that meant something to him. What are the side effects of this spell? I am still curious as to see what type of dark magic is involved. Well, this should be very interesting.

Author Feedback: As I recall from the second story, the resurrection spell is in a set with the killing curse, along with a spell that can make a full replication of a soul, rather than a fraction of one in a horcrux...but you need all three to be able to do it, and two of them are kept by the order of merlin...

Well clearly Ginny is deranged and I knew the spell had some significance. Unfortunately, I don't know much other languages, so I cannot figure out what the spell says. I hope that Harry isn't going to be too mad...
And, what are the side effects of this spell. Clearly there is much more to this story since you have been writing a sequel, and it's quite a long one at that. |

Well, Harry's change of heart was a bit too sudden. One moment he was set on killing himself, and the next he thanks Hermione for saving him? Doesn't really make sense to me. |
Author Feedback: The sole reason for doing that was because I didn't want to drag the angst out...he gave it some thought, and decided it wasn't worth putting Hermione through what she experienced all over again, especially when at some point he would see his family and Dumbledore again...
I don't really know the dynamics of the mind when one comes back from the dead, but this is about as close as I managed to get. |

Author Feedback: Put yourself in Harry's shoes...he's been living a happy death, getting to know the life he never experienced in the afterlife...but to make this less confusing, let's just say that Harry is torn between staying with Hermione and going back...this is still a big deal for him. |
