I've been enjoying this fic, thanks for writing. I've always felt that Ron's friendship had been seriously holding Harry back. Other authors have taken this a little farther, butit doesn't need to be a big conspiracy by Dumbolddork ... I like this option.
One thing has been nagging me about this fic, sometimes the scenes seem foreshortened ... Just like a certain epic set in a galaxy far far away, the narrative is being told in little incomplete slices. In varying degrees, some chapters more than others. This chapter provided the best example, this last scene with Harry meeting Sirius for the first time, didn't show their meeting, or really characterize well enough for Harry to invite this stranger into his home. Yes, harry wants to hear about his parents, but he's not inviting mcgonnagal, hagrid, or a score of others to come live in his secure home.
Anyway, again, I'm enjoying the story, I look forward to reading some more. |

I think Hermione's a bit evil for not telling Harry about the time turner. It's sad that she feels obliged to keep that secret from him. |

I've always wanted Harry to do *exactly* what you wrote here; have him think about, consider, evaluation, Hermione's dobbing him in about the broomstick. Rather than allow Ron to estrange him from Hermione for weeks.
I've read other fanfics which have shown that it was due to Ron that Harry ostracised Hermione; but this is even better! |

A bloody brilliant story and a smashing plot. Even though Harry & co. seems a little bit overpowered, I actually think it works with your story. I already added you as a favorite author, and I hope you will keep this standard forever |

After reading the complete story, I can only say that it is a delightful tale, well told, with lots of twists and turns with the good guys winning in the end. I am looking forward to reading the sequel.
For fanfiction it's just about as good as it gets.
Thankyou |

Hey, I have been going back and reading some of these old completed stories and I wanted to say that I really love this story. From what I remember of it I know I enjoyed it a lot and decided to read it again so I can remember it better. I don't believe I reviewed it before so here mine is now, I know its way too late but better late then never... |

I'm surprised that Harry & Hermione didn't go to either Mcgonagall or Dumbledore and talk to them about cell phones. I imagine that the first time they ring in a classroom, they will be added to the list of forbidden items. Cell phones were actually banned from school properties by State Law in Illinois from the mid-1980s until the early 2000s when pressure from parents to repeal the law were put in effect. Now, most schools have also repealed the ban, but usually have some policy that they must either be switched off or set to "vibrate" during class time. Actually, I've only heard of colleges using the vibrate option. |

Also, as this is presumably taking place in June 1994, the Internet was in its infancy (or at least toddler stage). Home access was JUST starting to become available. It is doubtful that Hermione would have heard much of it while at Hogwarts. Her parents might have and told her about the "new thing". People didn't really start looking for 'net access at home until MicroSoft came out with Windows 95 and included Internet Explorer. It made people start wanting to get it. It is more likely that Hermione would wire the phones and get an account with an On-line service. I don't have a clue what was in England however. Maybe Compuserve or Genie. |

There are some anachronisms in this chapter. James and Lily were presumably killed at the end of October 1981 while hiding for some time. While it is concievable that Lily might have bought an Atari or an Intelivision, it is doubtful she would have also gotten a computer. The IBM PC didn't come out until August of '81, and they were in hiding at that time. They might have had an Apple II, II+, or a Commodore PET. These were mostly for hobbiests. It wasn't until the Apple IIe, the IBM PC, and the Commodore 64 came out that the average Joe started buying computers. Oh, and the Macintosh in 1984. |
Author Feedback: Apparently, you didn't read the summary. "...21st century technology is used (as though this story started in 2003 instead of 1993." |

Well, I'm finally getting around to reading some of your earlier works. I haven't seen many divergences from 3rd year since before Order of the Phoenix came out. I liked the taunting of Malfoy and hope it sets the theme for the story. I normally wouldn't make comments on individual chapters for a finished fics, but with Portkey's review-mongering I'll use the opportunity to point out any plot holes or errors that you might want to correct. |
