I can honestly say this was so much better than HP 7 that you should have been paid millions instead of she who must not be named. I do have some criticisms. The imperius spell pretty much vanished, hagrid pretty much vanished, no mentions of some of the rarer species such as acromantula, other giants, dragons, etc., and I don't remember any bellatrix parts after her hand in the ministry. Despite these flaws, this is still one of the best fanfics ever. Thank you.

I hesitate to comment on this chapter since you've already finished the story, but I can already see where this is going with the water bottle. I'll see if I'm right I guess in a later chapter. Good writing technique.

Having a hard time putting this one down. You've certainly caught the proper mood of war.

The most epic HHr story of all time (top of my list where "Pou" by Lori/"Charming" by Fuyumi/"Draco Dormiens" by Cassandra etc. are the other works) deserves a second recommendation review from me~
If anyone is searching for a standard of top notch HHr fic, look no further than Resistance! This is the one story that'd blown me away completely, no flaws whatsoever(except maybe part of the plot where Hermione being pregnant AND the tragedy at the end), immaculate character portrayal, tight storyline, full utilisation of scenarios, heart-touching emotions, action-packed war scenes, evil cliffhangers(I'm sure there're some, though I don't really remember any now), constant angst plus drama, someone should create a miniWiki and start breaking down and analysing this masterpiece already!

I loved this story. One thing I would have liked was a epilogue that encompassed the rest of the surviving members of the order. Did Neville and ginny get together? What happened to Mcgonall? Seamus? Whoever else I forgot. But still awesome!

This is a magnificient work that you've completed here. You are a very talented writer. I was completely rivited the entire time. The characters are so vivid and real, it's amazing. The scenes with Percy in the infirmary and with Ron in the cave at the end were simply heart wrenching; there's just so much feeling in there that leaps off the screen. Thank you so much for writing this! I absolutely loved it!

I'm kinda divided about this story, there are things about it that I love and think are really well done, and there are things that I hated and didn't enjoy .

Your characterizations of the Weasleys are wonderful, I think your versions of Ron and Fleur might be my favorite. I really enjoyed that you made Voldemort strong and intelligent, it really makes the idea of defeating him seem much more difficult/scary. In many fics, we see the characters fight battles and be in other high risk situations and always come out of it w/out any negative consequencies, having ppl actually get hurt and be killed, adds realism and makes it more suspenseful when they're in dangerous spots and you think something might happen to them.

Hermione is my favorite character in canon, so it seems odd of me to say it, but I think most of my problems w/the story stem from the choice of telling it from Hr's pov. There were some times where she took seemingly dumb risks (going to the DoM there's no reason at all for her or Harry to be there anyone could easily cast a spell and break the orb just as they did in OOTP to the shelves to run away and just as Harry did to some of the other shelves of prophecy in this story, going to Riddle House w/Fred, etc), and to me it felt like it was done because you wanted show us a scene but you had to find a way for Hr to be there for that to happen. I think this version of Harry is one of my least favorite, he's just so pathetic during the entire story and never redeems himself, I honestly felt it strained believabilty having him win in the end, because he'd done absolutely nothing to indicate he had the ability to defeat Voldemort anywhere else in the story. Again I think this is explained by Hermione being the main character, to have her be the center of the story it felt like you destroyed Harry's believablity as the hero (he's easily captured in the time it takes Hr to make a short run to the woods in the beginning, twice he gets beaten by and has to be rescued from...circles obviously a truly evil shape lol, he wastes time in an alley casting a mark in the sky when deatheaters could've easily thrown AK's at him and/or Hr that wouldn't have been stopped by her shield charm, he stands there like an idiot when Malfoy tries to hex Hr while Ron manages to come running in out of nowhere to save her, he doesn't even cast a spell as this happens even though it's stated he has his wand out cause he'd just used it to blow up shelves, he's not shown landing a single spell against de's in the final battle, etc), while I'm not a fan of 'superpowered Harry', the Harry in this fic couldn't win a fight w/a stray cat w/out losing at least an eye and likely a limb, but somehow we're supposed to believe he could beat a wizard that had taken over wizarding England? Also, I think the angst was a little heavy and grating after a while, I don't think I've read a story full of so many 'hurt looks' before.

Sorry about droning on in this review, thanks for writing and posting your story, it was an interesting read.
Author Feedback: Wow. I sort of feel like I need to defend my Harry. Some of what you're complaining about may indeed be due to Hermione being the main character. The story generally remains from her POV, which means that she must be on hand for whatever action is taking place. So, there are things going on with Harry (when Hermione is injured for instance) that we do not see. 1. He may have been easily captured in chapter One, but he alone (well, and Remus later) made it out of Hogsmeade alive, and he and Hermione were the last fighters left. 2. The "evil shape" was a dark incarnation of Voldemort's magical essence, which happened to have a particular affinity for Harry. 3. The Mark in the Sky, I might give you, but hey -- it was the principle of the thing! 4. The whole thing is happening faster than the description makes out: it clearly says that his arm was going up, and he was going to try to get a curse off -- it also says he is behind Hermione, which also makes it harder, and 5. He is clearly fighting at Hogwarts, but we're getting disjointed views of it, because of Hermione's POV. He is definitely fighting with Seamus and Blaise during the battle with Malfoy, before he is taken to Voldemort, and he has been fighting throughout the castle during the whole thing.

So, I do appreciate the in-depth review really. It's nice to know that I might have done a few things right!
